Natural face glow

This is true that you can improve your overall health and looks at any age. If you really want to get glowing skin then you need to make a well planned skin care plan by including balanced diet, exercises and some homemade recipes for natural face glow.



Follow some basis tips;



  • If you are with dry skin then think about hydrating and moisturizing your skin.

  • If you are with oily skin then think about cleansing and freshening.

  • If your skin is patchy then think about smoothening and lightening treatments.

  • Change your skin care regimen according to your climatic factors.

  • The best natural tips for face glow is- keep your body well hydrated by drink at least 8 to 12 glasses or water thought out the day

  • Make your diet menu skin friendly by including lot of fruits and vegetables. These hydrate your skin. Protect yourself from the harshness of the sun. This is the main cause of skin discoloration, pigmentation and wrinkles. 

  •  Smile or laugh whenever possible because laughing is good for your facial muscles.

  • Steam your face once a week to clean up clogged pores. Take hot boiling water in a bowl. One thing I forgot to tell you is that you can also add some herbs in to the water while boiling, for example



For oily skin- peppermint or thyme

For sensitive or dry skin - chamomile

For normal skin - rosemary or lavender.



  • Sit at a table with your face over the bowl and a towel over your head..

  • Keep your face a comfortable distance from bowl, not so close you hurt from the heat, but not so far that nothing happens. This should open your pores.

  • Once the steam is finished, rinse your face with lukewarm water and a wash cloth.
Exfoliate your skin in order to remove left over dead skin cells after steaming.


  • Dampen your exfoliating facial pad in warm water and lightly dip it into powdered milk.

  • Massage your face gently by using a circular motion.

  • Repeat this process until you've thoroughly covered your entire face. Use a dry towel to pat your face dry.


Now, make a facial mask:

Things you’ll need:

Oatmeal = 1 tablespoon

Powdered milk = 2 table spoons.

1 egg white




  • Mix all the ingredients together to form a paste.

  • Apply this paste to your face and allow it to dry for 15 minutes.

  • Rinse with water and apply your favorite moisturizing lotion.


Easy glow recipe:


Mix 2 table spoon corn flour + 2 tablespoon flour + 1 tablespoon turmeric

- In order to use it- wash your face, once your face is wet, apply the this mixture on your face. Let it stay for a few minutes and then rinse it properly.



Make a cucumber facial mask



Take cucumber juice by blending and straining 1 medium sized cucumber. Now, add ½ teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon witch hazel. Stir it and add 1 beaten egg white. Apply this facial mask on your face and leave it on for 15 to 25 minutes. Rinse off.


APPLE MASK FOR NORMAL SKIN


Take 1 chopped apple and mix t teaspoon honey. Refrigerate the mixture for about Drop 10 minutes. After 10 minute, apply it onto your face with a light tapping motion, tapping until the honey feels tacky. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse.



CUCUMBER MASK FOR OILY SKIN


Make a mixture by mixing ½ cucumber + 1 egg white + 1 teaspoon lemon juice + 1 tablespoon mint. Puree everything and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm, then cool water.



More Useful Tips:


- Whenever you apply a lotion or cream or moisturizer, use gentle, swift, featherlike upward strokes. Do not use downward strokes or pull your facial muscles downward, else they will start sagging.

- In order to dry your face, always pat it dry. Avoid rubbing, scrubbing or pulling the skin.
