Vegetables for glowing skin
Do not spend your money on expensive face creams and face packs to get a clear, smooth and glowing face because you can achieve much better results without spending a dime. Here we are going to know about some skin friendly vegetables. These vegetables help to tone the skin beautifully and are also loaded with skin friendly vitamins, enzymes and other nutrients that help to balance and cleanse the skin at the same time.
Vegetables for glowing skin
I want to say something about vegetables that “ all vegetables are goods for your skin and overall health, so, consume them in the form of a salad or juice ”. Here are some skin friendly vegetables which are well known for their skin glowing – skin lightening properties.
Potatoes
- Potatoes work great for oily skin type. It helps absorb excessive oil from the skin and also make the skin soft and glowing at the same time.
- Another good thing is that you do not have to do an extra load of work to make a recipe. Just cut it and rub it in 2 halves and rub it gently on your skin in a circular motion. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse off with water.
- Keep a slice of potato on your eyes to get rid of under eye dark circles.
- Try to wash your face with cool potato juice at least once a day to get an extra glow on your skin.
Cucumber
- Cumber is another vegetable that can help you to get a glowing skin. It helps tighten the skin. Apply the juice on your face. Leave it to dry for about 10 minutes and then wash with lukewarm water.
- If you are suffering from puffy eyes then put a cucumber slice over your eyes.
- Another effective remedy for glowing skin is the mixture of lemon juice with cucumber juice ( equal quantity). Apply this mixture on your face thoroughly. Leave on for about 5 to 10 minutes and wash with lukewarm water.
Tomatoes
- If you want to achieve soft glowing quickly then cut a tomato into 2 halves and rub it directly on your face in circular movements. Leave tomato juice on your face for about 5 to 10 minutes. It is another good remedy for an oily skin.
- In order to treat your open/ large pores, apply a mixture of 1 tablespoon tomato juice + few drops lemon juice. .
Lemon
- To get clear glowing skin, try to apply lemon juice regularly for at least 2 – 3 weeks.
- In order to detoxify your skin, try to drink water mixed with lemon juice.
- For under eye circles, use a paste of 1 teaspoon tomato juice + ½ teaspoon lemon juice + a pinch of turmeric powder + pinch of gram flour. Apply this paste under your eyes and leave it on for about 10 minutes.
