There are many causes of wrinkles on the skin such as aging, diet, lifestyle, sun exposure etc. These all factors are responsible for skin damage. Sun exposure is one of the most common causes of wrinkles at young age. You can use Vitamin E to get rid of wrinkles. It is a fat soluble vitamin and is well known for its antioxidant properties.

According to the University of Maryland, antioxidants present in vitamin E can destroy free radicals, which are harmful compounds in the body. There are many benefits of vitamin E to the skin like it helps protect your skin from toxins and other pollutants.

You can use vitamin E for wrinkles in two ways. The first way, is to make a vitamin E based face mask and the other way is to eat vitamin E rich food sources.

Face Mask Recipes for Wrinkles

  • Avocado is a good source of vitamin E. Use it to make a face mask by mixing a half mashed avocado, one egg yolk and one tablespoon of honey. Apply it over your skin and leave on for about 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water.
  • Regularly massage your skin with olive oil. Olive oil is another good source of vitamin E.
  • Make a skin tightening mask by mixing vitamin e liquid (from capsules), half spoon honey, lemon juice and two spoons of yogurt. Apply it over your facial skin. Leave on for about 10 minutes and then rinse.
Lastly, include lot of vitamin E rich food sources into your diet menu to get an adequate amount from your diet. Also, avoid sun exposure as much as possible and do not forget to wear a good sunscreen before going out in the sun.
