Apples are loaded with natural acids, pectin and other nutrients like vitamin A, B and C which are essential for skin’s health. An applesauce face mask will give you a well nourished, blemished free, soft and moisturized skin naturally. Alpha hydroxyl acids present in apple helps exfoliate the skin. Here are some tips on how to make an applesauce facial mask recipe for oily skin.


Applesauce Facial Mask

  • Make a mixture by mixing equal quantities of applesauce and wheat germ. You can also use brown sugar in place of wheat germ.
  • Apply it on your facial skin.
  • Leave on for about 20 minutes.
  • Use warm water and gentle circular motion to rinse your face.

Another good recipe for oily skin is to make a face mask by mixing one mashed apple (quartered) with one teaspoon each of lemon juice and sage herb. Apply the resultant mask on your face and rinse with warm water after five minutes.
